Perth’s new hotel chain, Duluth, has announced it will open its first Perth hotel in the new year.
The Duluth hotel will be the first in the world to offer the new-to-WA model of luxury, with rooms ranging from $200,000 to $300,000 per night.
DulUTH will also offer guest services including a spa, fitness centre, bar and restaurant, with its first two floors dedicated to luxury, luxury suite suites, suites with private balconies and private dining rooms.
The DulUTH hotel will open on February 6.
The new hotel is expected to have a full complement of rooms, including private balcony suites.
Dul Ruth will be Duluth’s first Perth-based hotel, which will feature on the Duluth Hotel website.
It’s been about 18 months since Duluth opened, with guests staying at the DulUTH Resort, DulUTH Perth Hotel and Duluth Perth Hotel Bayside in Perth’s north.
At the time of the opening, Dul Ruth was the only hotel in Western Australia to offer a private balcony suite, with the suite available for $200k per night, the company said.DULUTH’s Perth-focused hotel has had a good year with a successful start, with sales reaching $1.6 million in the third quarter of 2016.
In November, the Perth and Kinross-based company announced it would expand into Perth by building a new hotel at the Perth International Airport.
Its opening is expected within the next 12 months.
The Perth-headquartered Duluth resort is currently the only one of its kind in the Western Hemisphere, according to its website.
Diluth is owned by the international hotel company, Duleth, which was founded in 1996 by Dutchman Paul Dijkstra.
Dijkstra said he wanted to bring an international hotel to Perth, with more than 2,500 rooms.
He said Duluth had already been in Perth for a year and that it would provide an attractive hotel for travellers from across the world.
Doluth’s Perth hotel will feature a new private balcony design, with suites ranging from £200,00 to $200m.
The Duluth Inn Perth hotel, in the Perth CBD, is expected for opening in the coming months.
